I’ve finished a new novel, The Choice, that will be released in mid-2012. The first part of the novel is set in 1974, a year after the Supreme Court in Roe v. Wade legalized abortion in the United States and is the story of a seventeen year old girl faced with a life and death delimna when she finds out she’s pregnant. The girl’s challenges increase when a mysterious old woman at a gas station tells her that she’s carrying twin boys – and if the boys ever meet, one of them is going to die. The novel spans over three decades in the life of the main character. Writing it was an emotional journey for me, and I hope it will prove to the be same for readers.

I have read most of your books. I loved “Jimmy” for its poignancy and “Waters Edge” because it returned to the legal territory you explored so effortlessly in books like “The List” and “The Trial”. In each of your books, the theme of redemption and reconciliation to Jesus Christ come across so clearly and credibly. I will buy “The Choice” as soon as it is released.
